• If planning for or potentially in need of a Cesarean birth, Ashley Rai Doula Care is Novant Health Operation Room cleared. This means that at Novant Health hospitals, our doula can be in the OR with you during a non-emergency Cesarean birth.

• Ashley Rai Doula Care is considered a part of your care team at Novant Health hospitals. This means that our doula does not count as a visitor.

• It is typically preferred that postpartum doula services are with clients who have received birth doula services from us. Special circumstances may apply where this is not the case.
